Dr. Mark Marchitto, MD obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology and Neurobiology from the University of Connecticut, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. He received his medical degree from the George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, DC, serving as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) honor society. Prior to graduating medical school, Dr. Marchitto completed a research fellowship at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine where he conducted basic and translational research. He completed his internship in internal medicine at the Sinai Hospital of Baltimore.
Dr. Marchitto completed his residency in dermatology at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. He was selected as chief resident during his final year of residency and received the Frank L. Coulson, Jr. Award for Clinical Excellence.
Dr. Marchitto practices both medical and cosmetic dermatology and treats a comprehensive range of skin diseases and concerns.
Dr. Marchitto was born and raised in Connecticut and is excited to be back in the area. Outside of clinic, he enjoys spending time with his friends and family, cheering on the UConn Huskies and New England Patriots, and exploring new restaurants.
