Justin Zhu is a board-certified Physician Associate with nearly a decade of clinical experience and a passion for helping patients feel their best. He specializes in medical dermatology and is known for his attentive, compassionate care and clear communication.

Justin earned his bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Care from the State University of New York and began his medical career in critical care, spending five years in the CCU and ICU at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. He later returned to the State University of New York to complete his Master of Medical Science degree in Physician Associate Studies.

Before specializing in dermatology, Justin spent three years practicing internal medicine as part of a hospitalist team. This diverse background provided him with a strong clinical foundation and a holistic approach to skin health. He is also a Diplomate Fellow of the Society of Dermatology Physician Associates.

Justin has extensive experience managing a wide range of dermatologic concerns, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, warts, hair loss, and other disorders. He cares for patients of all ages and treats both acute and chronic skin conditions. He also performs comprehensive skin cancer screenings and minor procedures such as biopsies, cryotherapy, electrodessication and curettage (ED&C), excisions, and cyst removals. He is especially committed to the early detection and prevention of skin cancer through regular skin checks and patient education.

Patients appreciate his ability to explain conditions and treatment options clearly, as well as his dedication to fostering a respectful and supportive environment. He believes open, honest communication is essential to building lasting relationships and achieving the best outcomes.

Outside the clinic, Justin enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and children—whether hiking local trails, visiting parks, or simply exploring nature together. He also enjoys reading, cooking, and the occasional DIY project at home.
